Reports to: Accounting Manager
Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:
Accounting:
- Handle or support financial results (monthly quarterly yearly) in full compliance with US GAAP
- Handle or support provide financial reporting in timely manner with high accuracy such as daily, weekly and
monthly sales and cash reporting, monthly various financial package
- Handle AR / AP and other transaction accounting work
- Handle expense report
- Handle Intercompany transactions.
- Interaction with internal and external auditors
Tax:
- Work with accounting manager and local advisor to ensure preparation of local statutory financial reports and
comply with local tax & legal regulations within the required time frames set by government
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Experience of AR and AP (mandatory)
- Knowledge of US and Japan GAAP, corporate tax, and 10+ years> experience
- Knowledge and experience with the ERP accounting system (Oracle/SAP)
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is a plus
- Ability to Drive for Results and work independently under tight timelines
- Native Japanese speaker with Business leveled English skills
