The Safety Specialist will be responsible for establishing rapport with community members, implementing and understanding internal policies, and effectively managing crisis situations, all while contributing to the development and enhancement of safety measures. Community Engagement:
* Establish and maintain strong rapport with community members, team members, and key stakeholders.
* Understand and contribute to the core work of the company, fostering a sense of trust and safety within the community.

Crisis Management:
* Recognize case type and severity while effectively de-escalating crises.
* Manage emotions of individuals involved in challenging situations, ensuring a calm and supportive approach.

Policy Implementation:
* Fully understand internal policies and their rationale.
* Implement policies to safeguard the best interests of our community members.

Collaboration and Development:
* Collaborate with the Safety Lead to develop and enhance internal policies, processes, and tools.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety measures within the organization.

Metrics-Driven Performance:
* Work towards achieving and maintaining metrics-driven performance in safety-related activities.
Profile
* Native level in Japanese speaker with fluency in English.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
* Crisis management skills and the ability to handle emotionally charged situations.
* Experience in a safety or community management role is a plus.
* Cabin Crew, Hospitality, Travel and Call Center Experience
