Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist who will work and grow within the Supply department/unit and will report to the DP & Procurement Manager within a team of Japan Supply Chain.

If needed: This position will be based in Country.

What will your responsibilities be within bioMérieux?

1. Availability and Stock management

Monitor VMI, including SLA, and fine-tune setting to make sure to optimize stock and prevent stock out or excess

Communicate closely with France, US and AU team to proactively take actions for any availability risk/issues to be avoided or minimized

Ensure to control stock to minimize scrap

1. 1. Procurement /Import/export

Manage purchasing on time for sales requirement by following procedure

Manage to follow import and export and properly file all required documents internally and externally

Manage inbound transportation by closely communicating US/FR SA team and forwarders

Coordinate import process by following trade regulations.

Properly proceed export/return shipment by following procedure

Monitor logistics cost and act for cost reduction

      • Manage vendors by fully understanding vendor management procedure
   2. SAP Management

Manage Material Master with team

Who are you?

• Knowledge and skills:

1.  Bachelor degree or equivalent education
2. Work experience in Japan over 3 years
3. Experienced in Supply Chain or Logistics over 3 years
4. Experienced in Import and Export operation over 2 years.
5. Specialized in demand planning over 3 years
6. Experienced in the same industry or similar industry
7. SAP or any ERP like Oracle experience
