・As an individual contributor in a team of experts in Data Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in innovating and advancing the digital capability in our agile organization.
・As an individual contributor, you will apply your specialized knowledge in programming languages and database systems in projects that require collaboration with team members in different capabilities and stakeholders from across multiple Astellas divisions.
・Maintaining awareness of external developments and being proactive in identifying opportunities to implement innovative solutions are essential to fulfill the role of an active expert.
【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

・Enable real-time data processing through automation of data and analysis pipelines.
・Understand and interpret data, identify patterns, and make informed assumptions with deep understanding of algorithms and their intended application/deployment.
・Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome project challenges and deliver effective solutions.
・Work collaboratively with team members within the subdivision and across other divisions.
・Regularly report on project progress and outcomes to the team lead and team members.
・Ensure the highest quality and consistency in the work delivered.
・Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes and digital capabilities.

【組織 / Organizational Context】
Our agile operating model consists of two components – Digital Capability and Digital Execution. Digital Execution aligns multiple missions around business goals and facilitating collaboration on a larger scale. Digital Capability focuses on the growth and development of individuals within a specific expertise area. This dual structure enables us to scale agile practices efficiently while maintaining a focus on both product development and individual skill enhancement.
【応募要件 / Qualifications】
＜必須 / Required＞
・Advanced degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
・Proficiency in programming languages and knowledge of database systems
・Knowledge and experience in implementing agile methodologies within data science projects
・Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, aiming at optimizing business processes and decision-making
・Good communication skills and ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
＜歓迎 / Preferred＞
・Programming skills in Python, R, or similar for data analysis and modeling tasks.
・Experience with iterative development processes
・Proven experience in leading data science projects with a significant component of their specialization
・Experience in team management, project oversight, and strategic vision for applying Data Engineering in business contexts

①基本給：当人の経歴・技術・技能等を考慮して決定
②裁量労働制の場合：裁量労働手当として職務グレードに応じて50,000～100,000円支給
③フレックスタイム制の場合：月間の所定労働時間を超えて勤務する時間に対して時間外勤務手当を支給
①Base salary: will be decided by the candidate's experience, skill and capability.
②When Discretionary Work System is applied: Discretionary work allowance will be paid.(50,000～100,000yen, based on the Grade)
③When Flextime System is applied: Overtime allowance will be paid for time worked in excess of prescribed working hours.
