Job Description:

Support the design, development, assembly, implementation, operator training and maintenance of factory automation equipment.

Specifics:

·         Collaborate with the Mfg Automation Process and Industrial Engineering team members to identify and assess opportunities.  

·         Participate in concept development and present proposed solutions.

·         Develop and implement solutions.

·         Document the design, operation and required maintenance of solutions.

·         Help support the maintenance of the automated equipment.


Required:

Candidate must be on course to achieve a bachelors degree in automation, mechanical or electrical engineering, 3rd year ideally.

Knowledge and Skills:

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Software applications testing methodology, including writing and execution of programs, debugging, and testing.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English.

·         Ability to effectively communicate product design proposals and negotiate requirements.

·         Training and or experience with implementation and maintenance of robotics and/or motion control, incl. wiring, programming, circuit design, mechanical component fabrication (3D printing...)

·         Knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, (Siemens PLCs is a plus)

·         3D modeling (Creo Mcad a plus)

·         Knowledge and proper use of hand and power tools.

USD Hourly: $27.50 - $33.25
